Hi Jonathan: Today was your eighth Yahrzeit and for mincha, I said Kaddish at Bnai Yeshurun, in Teaneck. Your cousin Ira is here from Israel for a visit and he gave a talk, dedicated to the memory of Taube, who passed away just recently. I listened to all the praises of her, praises which are of course well deserved, but couldn’t help thinking of how well they applied to you. Besides saying Kaddish, of course we lit a candle as a way of remembering you on this day. But for Mom and I that candle is burning in our hearts every day. You are always with us.

Hi Jonathan: Today is 8 years on the solar calendar. To mark this day, Mom and I went out to eat pizza at a small New York Italian restaurant after we went to the Guggenheim to see their show "Haunted." Works in the show used photographs in various ways, conected pehaps I think, by their ability to make the viewer question the reality of the photograph's "inherent accuracy." It was a show that you would have liked and I frequently imagined you there as a viewer and also as one of the artists. You've done some very interesting art using photographs. I am confident that if you had decided to become a visual artist you could have had your work included. We think of you always and wherever we are.

I woke up missing Jonathan a lot this morning. I just want to send him some love. He was the coolest. Love (nurse)tami

Happy Birthday Jonathan, you are 30 years old today. Mom baked you a birthday cake, vanilla with chocolate topping. Mom and I ate almost half of it. We think about you all the time. You are always with us.

The best way that I can describe Jonathan is that he was a sweet and innocent person. The interaction that was between him and his brother Josh, his father (my Uncle Lewis) and his mother (my Aunt Janet) was very special.
